Helsinki (Finland), 29, August 2018 (SPS) – The Sahrawi issue has strongly presented at the festival, hosted by Fartia city in Finland held on 25 – 26 August, according to a source from Frente POLISARIO representive to Finland.
The representative of the Frente POLISARIO in Finland, Ms. Menna Lehbib, along with several members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Finland, the Chairman of the Norwegian Committee for Solidarity with the Saharawi People, Mr. Eric Hagen, as well as the President of the Finnish Peace Society.
The festival, which marks the centennial anniversary of the Communist Party of Finland (FCP), has seen the screening of the documentary «Three Stolen Cameras»
Menna Lehbib has stressed «the awareness-raising of the Sahrawi issue in the Finnish community, among the components of civil society of students, professors, researchers and others is necessary, since it works to convey the reality of the Sahrawi revolution and the struggle led by the POLISARIO, the legitimate representative of the Saharawi people to snatch the right of freedom and independance.
In his intervention during the festival, Mr. Eric Hagen, gave a valuable lecture in which he asserted the right of the Saharawi people to freedom and independence, and their right to enjoy their natural wealth as a basic and legitimate right Linked to the question of self-determination SPS
