In a joined communique that was sent to the Black Lives Matter and of which we have a copy, several Saharawi NGOs have expressed their firm solidarity with Black Lives Matter. The images of George Floyd suffocating under the knee of a racist police officer who ignored his pleas that he couldn’t breathe, until he gasped his last breath, stirred the utmost indignation of the Saharawi organizations and the Saharawi people in general.
