Shaheed El-Hafed, November 20, 2016 (SPS) – The Government inspection committee led by Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, observed Sunday the progress of work at the Ministry of Information.
The Committee, including Foreign Affairs, information and Protocol, in addition to specialized technical Committee, inspected the media headquarters, national radio, news agency, national tv, media archive, free Sahara newspaper, radio and television broadcasting department.
In a statement to the media, Information Minister Hamada Salamah stressed that the visit comes in the framework of follow-up and embodiment of program of development of the information sector through enhancing energies and capabilities in this field.
He added that the visit enabled access to all aspects of management, facilities and capabilities that the Ministry of Information has, for the advancement of Sahrawi media discourse, which works on transfer of the image and voice of the Saharawi people, who are fighting for their right to self-determination and independence.
