Geneva, June 26, 2018 (SPS) – The Sahrawi human rights activist Hassena Mulay Dahi has presented Tuesday a lecture the right of self-determination and autonomy of peoples at the headquarters of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland
Saharwi lecturer has addressed the legal and historical background of the Western Sahara issue, its position in international law, as issue of decolonization and the last colony on the African continent.
Sahrawi human rights activist said that the current situation in Western Sahara, Hassane Moulay is marked by  a peaceful civil resistance in the occupied cities, the southern of Morocco and the university sites, highlighting the massive violations committed by Moroccan occupation authorities against Saharawi civilians, human rights activists and media advocating for their right to self-determination and independence.
Hassena Mulay Dahi went on saying that the peaceful civil resistance in the occupied territories of the Western Sahara will continue until the Saharawi people gain their full right to self-determination, through the organization of a fair and free referendum, as stipulated in the resolutions of the UN Security Council.
