International human rights organizations warn of Coronavirus consequences on Sahrawi people | Sahara Press Service

Geneva (Switzerland), 28 March 2020 (SPS) – International human rights associations and organizations active in the field of human rights have warned of the repercussions of the global pandemic of Coronavirus, which is sweeping the world, on the Sahrawi people.

Some 400 associations and organizations from different countries have confirmed in a letter addressed to the members of the United Nations and through them to all parts of the world to warn of the repercussions and consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Sahrawi people.

The letter warned that the situation of the Sahrawi people, especially in the occupied territories, and in particular the situation of Sahrawi political prisoners, requires an urgent solution under the terrible spread of the Coronavirus. (SPS)
