Caracas (Venezuela), January 12, 2019 (SPS) – The Minister Delegate for Latin America and the Caribbean, Mansour Omar, was received Friday by Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza.
The two sides discussed issues of mutual interest and excellent relations between the Sahrawi Republic and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and means of developing them.
The Sahrawi minister, who accompanied by Sahrawi Ambassador to Venezuela, Mohammed Salem Daha, briefed the Venezuelan minister on the latest developments of the Sahrawi issue, in particular the United Nations peace process for the decolonization of Western Sahara.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the participation of the Sahrawi delegation in the inauguration ceremony of Mr. Nicolas Maduro who has been elected for a second term as president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. (SPS)
