El-Aaiun (Occupied Territories), September 10, 2017 (SPS) – Moroccan forces intervened, violently on Saturday in the occupied city of El-Aaiun, against peaceful Sahrawi protestors, mostly unemployed, who were demonstrating to demand their legitimate rights and condemn the grave depletion of the wealth of the Sahrawi people.
The violent intervention resulted in many injuries among the demonstrators.
The Moroccan authorities pursue a policy of exclusion and marginalization of hundreds of unemployed Sahrawis, preventing them from benefiting from the wealth of the occupied territory. (SPS)
