El-Aaiun (Occupied Territories), May 27, 2019 (SPS) – Moroccan police arrested 14-year-old Sahrawi minor Ambarak Mohamed Bani near the so-called Morabitine School on Smara Street in the occupied city of El-Aaiun, according to family sources.

During the abduction, the Moroccan policemen, in plain clothes, took the Sahrawi minor to the police station, where he was subjected to torture, ill-treatment and threat of rape, according to the same sources, who noticed bruises and injuries on various parts of his body.

He spent nearly four hours inside the headquarters of the so-called security mandate, where several records were edited against him without informing his family about their contents.

It is worth mentioning that the abducted was the son of Sahrawi political prisoner among Gdeim Izik group, Mohammed Ahanini Rouh Bani, who is held at Ait Melloul 2 prison, under an unjust sentence of life imprisonment, during an unjust trial that lacks guarantees of a fair trial, which took place in the Moroccan city of Salé, as was witnessed by international human rights organizations such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.
