Tifariti (Liberated Territories), December 24, 2019 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, stressed that the new leadership elected by the Congress must be at the level of shouldering the responsibility entrusted to them by the people.
In a speech after his re-election on Tuesday as secretary-general of the Polisario Front, President Brahim Ghali thanked the Congress delegates for the trust they had granted him, which he considered a mandate rather than an honor.
He expressed his condolences to the brotherly Algerian people for the loss of Deputy Minister for National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, late Ahmed Gaïd Salah, stressing that Algeria lost a righteous son who spent his entire life serving Algeria and its people.
The President of the Republic praised Algeria’s firm position on the national cause and its constant defence of just causes, foremost of which is the Sahrawi cause. (SPS)
