Niamey (Niger) July 6, 2019 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Ghali, on Saturday arrived in Niamey, capital of Niger, to participate in the 12th Extraordinary Summit of the heads of state and government of the African Union (AU).
The Summit will mark the entry into force of the Agreement on the Establishment of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and will formally launch the operational phase of the African Internal Market.
.The President of the Republic will hold several meetings with the Heads of State and Government of the African Union, the AU Commission and the decision-making bodies of the Continental Organization, in order to discuss international and regional developments in the Sahrawi issue. (SPS)
