Bir Lahlou, 6 April 2020 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Keir Starmer on his election as the leader of the British Labor Party.
«On behalf of the people of Western Sahara and the Polisario Front, I would like to extend to you my sincere congratulations on your well-deserved election as the leader of the Labor Party, which has been democratically expressed by the overwhelming majority of the party members,» said the President of the Republic.
“The Polisario Front is truly proud of its brotherly relationship with the Labour Party over the past decades and grateful for the strong and continued solidarity and unconditional support for the Sahrawi people in self-determination and freedom,” he added.
The President of the Republic took the opportunity to confirm the Polisario Front’s willingness to further develop and strengthen the «excellent relationship of cooperation, brotherhood and friendship that already exist between us as partners.» (SPS)
