San Salvador (El Salvador, 30 May 2019 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Ghali, arrived Thursday in El Salvador to participate in the inauguration ceremony of President-elect, Mr. Nayib Bukele, Scheduled for Saturday, at the official invitation of the latter.
President Brahim Ghali was received at El Salvador International Airport by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Carlos Castaneda, accompanied by government officials
At the end of the reception ceremony, President Brahim Ghali delivered a statement to media, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome and generous invitation to participate in this important event, praising the level of relations between the two countries and the desire of the Sahrawi side to promote them, wishing El Salvador and its people further progress and prosperity.
The President of the Republic is accompanied by a delegation comprising Minister Delegate in Charge of Latin America and the Caribbean, Omar Mansour, Saharawi Ambassador to El Salvador, Suliman Tayeb, Advisor to the Presidency of the Republic, Abdati Breika. (SPS)
