Bir-Lehlu (liberated territories), August 05, 2020 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali, has sent a message of condolence to his Lebanese counterpart, Michel Aoun, following the grave incident that hit Beirut Port which left a big number of victims and wounded persons, in addition to causing huge damage to the buildings, and the public and private facilities..
«We have learned, with great emotion and immense sadness, the horrific terrorist attack that left dozens dead and many wounded,» the President of the Republic wrote in his message.
«In this painful circumstance, allow me to express, on my own behalf, on behalf of the people and the government of the Saharawi Republic and the leadership of the Frente POLISARIO, my most sincere condolences to you, the Lebanese people and the families of the victims, and assure you of my solidarity and my compassion,» said the President of the Republic.
