Bir Lahlu (liberated territories), August 25, 2016 (SPS) – the president of Republic, Secretary-General of Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Gali sent on Wednesday message of condolence to Italian President Sergio Mattarella following the devastating earthquake that struck Italy, leaving many dead and wounded.
«In this painful and sad moment I would like to express own my behalf, and on behalf of the Saharawi people our sincere condolences to the families of dead and wounded in the central Italian regions hit by the devastating earthquake,» the president says.
The President stressed that he will follow with great interest this catastrophe over the reports in the international media, and directly through the Polisario Front representative in Rome.
It should be recalled that the earthquake occurred at night on Wednesday in the triangle of the regions of Lazio, Umbria and Marche and was felt in many parts of Italy. SPS
