The UN Security Council approved, on Tuesday April 30th, a resolution welcoming «new momentum» from resuming talks on resolving the decades-long dispute over Western Sahara between Morocco and the Polisario Liberation Front.
South Africa and Russia abstained in the voting 13-0, accusing the US draft resolution of imbalance.
