Brussels, August 31, 2018 (SPS) – the Minister Delegate to Europe, Mr. Mohamed Sidati, was received Thursday by  the International Trade Committee of the European Parliament in the presence of several members of the European Parliament from different political spectrum and various actors of interested experts.

In his intervention, Sidati gave detailed explanations on the latest developments of the Sahrawi issue, especially the European involvement in the wealth of the people of Western Sahara and the EU´s institutions current maneuvers aimed at circumventing European court decisions calling for respect of the international legitimacy.

The Sahrawi diplomat has strongly slammed the proposal of amendments submitted by the European Commission, which includes the Sahrawi territories in the agreements between EU and Morocco, considering it as a blatant violation of the provisions of the European judiciary, which was clearly in this regard, dubbing these attempts as Robbery and fraud as it undermines the credibility of the European judiciary.
