Dakhla (occupied territories), February 19, 2018 (SPS) – The Moroccan occupation forces intervened violently on Saturday against Sahrawi demonstrators in the occupied city of Dakhla, where they were demonstrating to demand that the Saharawi people benefit from their wealth and to denounce policies of depletion of Western Sahara resources.
The protesters were surprised by the siege of several formations of Moroccan occupation forces before intervening violently against them, which led to the fall of a number of victims, mostly women.
It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan occupation has worked to drain the resources of Western Sahara since its invasion of the territory in contradiction to the international conventions. (SPS)
