Boumerdes (Algeria), August 09, 2016 (SPS) – the president of Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente Polisario, Mr. Brahim Gali oversees today morning in the Algerian city of Boumerdes, the opening of the activities of the Summer University of executives of Polisario Front and Saharwi Republic, amid the participation of a number of civilian and military cadres and actors from the Algerian and Sahrawi civil society.
The university which bears the name of the martyr Mohamed Abdelaziz, scheduled to be from the 9 to 22 August, which will include many lectures related to Sahrawi cause at the regional, continental and international level.
Among the programmed lectures during the Summer University: the importance of lobby groups in defense of the Western Sahara issue as the last colony in Africa, the role of regional groupings and the specialized agencies to get acquainted with the situation of the Saharawi people, the background of Morocco to join the African Union, the African Union commitments and the United Nations in resolving the conflict in Western Sahara, the Sahel crisis and the issue of Western Sahara, human rights, natural resources, the role of the media in the issues of liberation , Sahrawi peaceful resistance and human rights violations in Occupied Territories, women and their role in building the society, the international law and the rights of colonial peoples (the case of the Saharawi people).SPS
